How to navigate through our site
As you can tell the FOKID web site is a totally new site. This page is to help you navigate through it's pages.
The Main Page
- The main page is there to do several things, It lets you as a site user see at a glance some of the key things going on with the club. The top bar is a list of quick links to the other site pages.
- Down the left side bar is a site search, a repeat of the top bar.
- Farther down the left side bar are links to other related sites and headlines.
- When you navigate to the other pages the FOKISD Logo at the top left becomes your back to the main page button. Single steps back can be done using your own browser back button.
New Member Application
- This is a form page for anyone wanting to sign up as a new member of FOKISD. This page will redirect you back to the main page once you click on the submit button at the bottom.
Member's Area
- This is the entrance to the Member's Area. This is a club member's only area, and you will have to register to use it.
- Once you are a member, and you register into the member login for the first time, your user account will be checked against the club roster before your account will be activated.
- You will receive an email directly from the site webmaster when your account has been approved.
How to Register
- Click on the Member's Area Link
- You will be taken to the login screen
- Near the top of the screen you will see the page header, and below and to the right you will see REGISTER. (SEE SAMPLE)
- Fill in the info and submit it.
Member's Only ID & Passwords
- If you are a member of the Diesel Garage forums, and already have a Screen Name on either of those sites, feel free to use that same Screen Name as your member ID here. Most our members visit those sites and will know you by your Screen Name.
Club News
- This page will have brief info about the web site updates and changes as well as other club related news. Club member news as well (weddings, members with new babies(trucks) as well as other things) to share with all who visit.
Club Events
- This is where all the club meeting dates and event dates will be posted for everyone.
- Club only announcements(things that only club members need to know (Like who is bringing cole slaw to the next meeting and such) will be posted in the Member' only area of the site.
Club Links
- This page contains links to web sites to either truck related web sites or other web sites that belong to close friends of our club. Please stop by these links and tell our friends how much we appreciate them.
Club Gear
- Yes this is the page of those items you just got to have. Stop back we may have something new here soon!
On-line Voting and Surveys (when active)
- From time to time you will find a Survey or Voting Link on the main page under Headlines.
- Surveys will be open to members and non members just to make things fun.
- Voting for officer elections will be done from the member's only area of the site.
